Just last week I met with Nick and Angela at the new fountain park in Bremerton to do their engagement session. These two are getting married in just a few weeks. They were so adorable together. We had a blast playing in the water and checking out the new park on Pacific Avenue. This got a little steamy! Check out the slide show with music from TripleScoop.com.

It was a crazy weekend that included the opening of our new studio in Poulsbo and me getting vertigo so bad the next day the whole world was spinning. I put together a cute little video of the photo booth we had set up. Thanks to all the folks that stopped by to pay us a visit. Sorry I couldn’t get you all in. Here is the link to the video. It takes a minute to load so be patient.

We are excited to announce our new photo studio in Poulsbo. We are having our Grand Opening open house on Saturday the 17 from noon to 7:00. Please stop by and say hi. We are upstairs above the Dancing Brush downtown. Look for the stairs between the Dancing Brush and the Kitchen Karosel.  The studio is small, but just big enough for meeting clients, and rainy day sessions. We will be open by appointment.  We will be doing all our maternity sessions and newborns there as well. We will also be offering photography classes for adults soon. We are looking forward to being part of the downtown Poulsbo community.

And we hope you all have very happy holidays and a great new year. Look for some big announcements coming soon regarding our new space in Poulsbo. In the meantime, enjoy the video! I just came across this cool software to make videos. Check out the one I made a couple of hours ago. Kind of cool. I’m thinking of adding this type of video to my web and product line. Let me know what you think.

Wow, October was a beautiful month! So full of color and crispness, just like Chloe, a senior from North Mason High School. We started our session with Chloe in Poulsbo with a rescue horse Chloe is in love with. Such a sweet horse! He was a great model and so much fun! Then we just had to go to Port Gamble where the leaves were turning and everything was so beautiful. On the way we stopped by a you cut Dahlia farm on Big Valley Road. What a wonderful place! So colorful. I loved the way the color in these photos turned out, so full of life, just like Chloe!

Here is a sneak peek at a wonderful wedding in Port Gamble for Penny and Will, a wonderful, fun couple. Despite a drizzly day, they beamed with happiness all day and truly enjoyed their big day. Will had a grin that simply would not go away! Because of the rain, we didn’t get to truly take advantage of all the beautiful gardens that Farm Kitchen has to offer, but we were able to get a few shots in the dahlia garden during a brief break in the rain. Once again Gina and Ray of Essence of the Thymes catering did a great job with the food. DJ Dave kept the music going and the dance floor packed. Congratulation Penny and Will!

Finally, the albums I have been designing for the last few months are starting to roll in. I got three of them just yesterday. They are sooooooo gorgeous! I love them. I love this manufacturer. They do such nice work. Of course, I am pretty proud of the layout and color, too! I work hard to make these books look this good. If you want to see some of the typical layouts I create go to my site to see a few. Most of our packages include both the big book and two smaller clone (parent) books. The little ones are the same pages, just smaller. Here is a peek at one of the sets of books that just came.

We were honored to spend the afternoon with Juan and Emily and their families in Port Gamble this Labor Day Weekend. Such nice people! So much love! Such a beautiful day and such a beautiful wedding. I had a hard time keeping my eyes dry! And what a wonderful place to have a wedding! I think the chapel in Port Gamble may be my new favorite chapel. I love the blue and white colors on the inside and the New England styling on the outside. They even had the horse and carriage. How romantic is that!

Aaron and Joana came back from Utah to get married at Bangor SubBase last week. Joane grew up in the Silverdale/Bremerton area, so it was a homecoming for her. Aaron wore his navy dress uniform, as did Joana’s dad. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful wedding. Congratulations you two and have great time at your next base in Japan!
